Fnatic announced in mid-September 2026 that it is actively recruiting a new League of Legends General Manager based in Berlin to lead roster construction, staff oversight, and performance culture for the 2027 season after the organization’s worst historical campaign. Javier “Dardo” Zafra previously served as Fnatic LoL Team Director from 2020 through December 2024, overseeing transfers, operations, and LEC strategy before stepping down to transition into another internal role following a break. His deep institutional knowledge of the black-and-orange organization, prior success stabilizing operations, and familiarity with LEC stakeholders position him as a logical internal candidate amid the rebuild. Trader consensus around 50 percent reflects speculation on social channels but lacks confirmed shortlists or official updates, with the recruitment process and post-season review still underway as of mid-October.
