Neptunes de Nantes host Beziers in Ligue A Féminine on October 13 after a mixed start to their return to the top flight. The promoted side opened with a 1-3 home loss to defending champions Mulhouse before securing a convincing 3-0 road win at Bordeaux Mérignac, where attackers like Glynn and Glemboczki delivered strong performances. Nantes coach Sylvain Quinquis highlighted Beziers as a title contender, citing their stability, depth, and the impact of American setter Jenna Ewert in distributing with pace and precision. The matchup features teams with recent competitive head-to-head history, a packed October schedule for the hosts, and Beziers' early-season consistency that could test Nantes' defensive organization and service game at Mangin-Beaulieu.
