Carnell Tate, the Titans’ fourth-overall rookie wideout from Ohio State, has posted 23 receptions for 274 yards through five games while drawing a 30% share of team targets and over half the air yards in a low-volume passing attack. A Week 4 explosion (nine catches, 145 yards) gave way to a limited Week 5 outing hampered by a back issue that kept him questionable, though he remained active. Tennessee’s 0-5 record and quarterback Cam Ward’s struggles have capped opportunities, yet Tate’s route volume and downfield role position him for steady accumulation if the offense stabilizes or he avoids further setbacks heading into a Week 6 matchup against the Colts.
